The inaugural AMP Houestaff Welcome Event was held July 17th, 2013 at the Smilow Center for Translational Research at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine. 

The evening’s special attendees included Dean Larry Jameson, Dean of the Perelman School of Medicine and Executive Vice President for UPHS, Dr. Mike Apkon, Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President who gave opening remarks. AMP executive board members: Kiona Allen, Danielle Brewington, Jessica Fowler, Mikhail Higgins, and Gina South were introduced.

The evening was completed by a housestaff Q&A panel geared toward new housestaff with:

Dr. Adelaide Barnes (CHOP Pediatrics) and Dr. Roy Hamilton (HUP Neurology) offered reflections as faculty in the UPHS-CHOP Health Systems.
