Dr. Christina Twyman- Saint Victor completed her undergraduate education at Duke University and received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University, where she also completed residency in internal medicine. She continued her training as a fellow in gastroenterology at HUP. Dr. Twyman-Saint Victor is currently an attending in gastroenterology at HUP and serves as a professional development advisor for AMP.
What made you interested in your current field of medicine?
“I enjoy doing procedures as well as having a continuity clinic. I also wanted a field that is conducive to laboratory research. GI has interesting pathophysiology, allows me to do procedures, and provides ample opportunities for research.”
What do you enjoy about working in the UPHS-CHOP system?
“The research opportunities and the ability to collaborate with colleagues across the health systems, which is very important for providing patients the best care possible.”
What are some of your favorite things to do in Philly?
“Walk around aimlessly window shopping and eat!”
