Penn URM Visiting Clerkship Program
|
AMP is excited to partner with the University of Pennsylvania Health System (UPHS) and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to establish a visiting clerkship program. This program offers 4th year medical students the opportunity to explore rotations at CHOP, The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP), and Presbyterian Hospital (Presby) in a number of subspecialties and top ranked residency programs. Students will interact closely with resident and faculty mentors while also meeting other URM residents, fellows, and faculty across the health systems. Perks of the program include funding up to $1,500 and opportunities to meet personally with Program Directors of students' program of interest. Additionally, students receive a resident, housestaff, and/or faculty mentor as part of the program. See below for more information.

We are currently planning to host in-person rotations. If this changes because of the pandemic we will let all applicants know. Please be sure that you have clearance from your medical school to participate in a visiting rotation.
